My class is reading Desmond Tutu's Nobel lecture from 1984. Its also extremely relevant to catch a glimpse of how formal segregation before the civil rights era.

Many who would classify themselves as conservative would argue why should MLK day be celebrated? I get funny looks when I talk about 'color blind racism'. I wish we could teach more understanding and awareness of the world.
