My coffee of choice is Stewarts, a canned brand out of Chicago. I think it's much better than FolgersMaxwellHouseEtc, and the plaid can is handsome. It is indeed economical, and stores well. I bought 13 cans just last Saturday.
So, Walter, you haven't turned Kenneth on to Gridge's yet, huh?
I like both of your current posts...though I've not seen a Toyota Scion (spelling from memory of reading the other post first, and I was almost to the end of your story when I realized you were talking about a car - I think - and not an executive of the company.)
Alison Piepmeier was a professor in the Women's and Gender Studies Program at the College of Charleston, and much, much more. When she wasn't working to bring down the patriarchy, she wrote here and elsewhere about feminist disability studies, Zines, her ugly car, and an eclectic range of topics. She also wrote about the brain tumor that eventually caused her death on August 12, 2016, at the age of 43.
