All the articles were great - I especially enjoyed reading your words on the P&C site. You are right, that is a great picture of you. I've been reluctant to buy your book right off Amazon because I really want a signed copy ;-)

I was going to send you an email because I was so delighted to see you in some many media places. You are such a great voice for the College. And then I checked your blog and read that you were having seizures. I just burst out crying. I have a nearly-two yo child, and also work at the College, and know how hard it is to include even dental appointments (for example, I do not) into a mom professor's schedule.
I am glad you have the ace support team around you that you do, and I'm very sorry that life is so much harder than younger selves would ever believe.
Also, I've mentioned this blog to others and expressed to them how nice it is for you guys to allow people into your lives. So honest and admirable, I think. Other people could not do it, I am sure. So thanks for letting strangers, as Aristotle put it, do the work necessary to a good life, that is-- "learn other's stories and share in their lives".

Great pic and even better interview! Reading your words made me so proud and lucky to know you--one of my favorite people in Charleston...heck, in this world! Just found out everything that has been going on in your lives over winter break. I am at the same time stunned and yet not surprised by how you and biffle handle challenge with such courage and humor.
I think you should keep blogging new posts but just re-post this picture every time. It's awesome.

Sorry to hear about all you are dealing with. After my own experiences this past year, I can relate. If you want to talk, cry, etc., please let me know. Meanwhile, I have a good friend who is thriving a couple of years after her brain tumor experience, and I'm sure she'd be happy to talk with you if you'd like.
