Too exhausted

Hey, folks--

I am way too tired right now to say anything meaningful to you.  But I did want to write a note thanking you all for the wonderful comments coming my way.  My face is swelling more and more (which is to be expected), and I'm spending little bits of time with Maybelle, interspersed with long periods of naps.  We'll be back in SC around the end of the week, at which time I'll continue to be napping.  A lot.

But at any rate, it's great to hear from you, and in the coming weeks I'll begin to get back to you, too.

This might not be relevant, or it could be really relevant, but this video is really important. It's about language and "disability", the first two minutes are in her language, the rest are translated in English.

I think Blogger didn't allow Chantelle's link to come through. Is think this may be the video she's talking about:

Alison - your surgeon is my hero...along with yourself, Biffle, Maybelle, the nursing staff, your family, and everyone else who's been involved. I hate to hear that you're face is swelling, but hey...hopefully you won't have any clogged pores. :} (look for the good in everything, right?) Seriously, I was so happy to see you in the video (thanks, Walter!), and I wish you the most peaceful and comfy napping anyone's ever enjoyed as you convalesce and recouperate (hopefully i spelled all that correctly).

many heartfelt warm fuzzies to all of the Biffle-Piepmeier's.
