A meme!

Ooo, look, I'm participating in (perpetuating?) a meme!

Things I liked when I was nine that I still like:

  • Sitting alone reading
  • Eating outrageous amounts of chocolate
  • Riding my bike
  • Catherine Bush
  • Questioning why things are the way they are
Things I didn't like when I was nine but like now:
  • Asparagus
  • Going to bed
  • Dogs
Things I didn't like then and still don't like:
  • Conflict (I am a Piepmeier, after all)
  • Cold weather
  • Fake banana flavoring
  • Intolerance
  • Walter Biffle telling me what to do.
(That last one isn't actually accurate, but Biffle is sitting here telling me that Kelly Love Johnson would never do anything as uncool as a meme. Bastard.)

You crack me up. Just tell Walter that anything I do is cool! All men love me, all women want to be me. That's just the way it is and I've learned to accept it.

(and note that it's technically NOT a meme, since I didn't actually TAG anyone...but I might do that next, you never know...)

Cate: According to the "memelist," "In Blogspeak, a meme is an idea that is shared and passed from blog to blog, like a question posted in one blog and answered in many other blogs."

Kelly: I don't actually know what it means to TAG someone. But clearly anything you do is cool.

Have you checked out the unruly eyebrows I linked to in my blog? They are truly horrific. You'll hate them!

So, I have to agree with Walter here. Not so crazy about the "meme" format. Seems more of a random, prompted list to me; like a prompt from a writing workshop. like one that would suggest you write about one day in the middle school cafeteria--what the sights, sounds and smells were, only less descriptive than that. I get that it's supposed to be "cool" and a webbed way to set up an in-crowd series of links. Still skeptical of the idea. Seems a little bandwagony.
