Oh yay! Your link to the blog post had a link to Laura Hershey! Her article "From Poster Child to Protester" (on the previous link you gave), and you sharing Harriet's experience and her feelings really got me to thinking of my own experience, frustration, mixed emotions at being a disabled veteran...hard to express it all in words. This really got to me.
